Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and thanks to all my generous sponsors so far. I managed to finish the London Marathon in 4hours 29minutes and 13 seconds, which I was quite pleased with as the day was extremely hot and not one for beating personal bests. Not content with running one Marathon this year, I am running another, as I discovered the distance between the Rectory ar Roydon and the Vicarage at St. Thomas Heigham in Norwich is almost exactly 26.2 miles by the back roads. I couldn't resist the challenge to run to my new job!! I am setting off on Thursday May 3rd at 7am and hope to reach the vicarage by 12noon. Watch this space as I'll tell you how I get on. The London Marathon is just such a fantastic event as thousands of us are working to make the world a better place all at the same time. Let's harness our love and creativity to become powerful for good. The London Marathon and other such human events are a sign that good is stronger than evil. Let's make an end to war (it's redundant, stupid and destructive) and let's begin to feel the power of love to create bonds of peace, friendship, and community in our world. Clean water for everyone is not a bad place to start.
