First of all, I'd like to say a massive thank you for simply taking the time to look at my amazingly COOL JustGiving page!

What am I doing? 

I will be climbing KILLERmanjaro (highest mountain in Africa) in the summer in aid of Practical Action. For those who don't know the extremity of this death defying stunt. It will take EIGHT LONG days of hiking, not washing nor brushing my teeth (imagine the tooth decay), carrying what I can imagine would feel like a dead body on my back of a rucksack and no longer sleeping on a nice warm comfy bed. Actually, thinking about it now, what on Earth have I done! With my Asthma!!! and the poor air conditions I could potentially be in danger!

Is it worth the risk?

Practical Action makes a difference to the lives of those in less developed countries by working in partnership with them in order to:

-       Reduce the vulnerability of poor people affected by natural disasters, conflict and environmental degradation.

-        Help poor communities gain access to basic services such as clean water, food, housing and electricity.

-         Help poor communities to access effective new technologies.

Can you drink water from the sewage? Can you imagine not having a telephone to call the ambulance after an emergency? Can you imagine not having a computer to look something up on google? Can you imagine suffering days without electricity? Yes that means no computer once again!

Well, by making a contribution, you could be improving the lives of millions without even breaking a sweat!
