About 8 months ago, my Dad died of pancreatic cancer, approximately 15 months after diagnosis. He was first diagnosed when he returned from France jaundiced and came into University Hospital Southampton. His treatment in Southampton from the first moment through the door was something that he always commented on and held up as the gold standard of care throughout his illness.  Some of the people on this ride were involved in looking after him, and by raising money for this great charity, I hope that other patients can continue to receive such high levels of care in the future in Southampton.

Many people on this ride have similar stories to mine, often having been on both sides of the fence, and all have seen the fantastic work that PLANETS does. I hope you can take a few moments to donate to a worthy cause!
