I'll just cut straight to the chase, I'm after your money!!!... But its for a good cause, I promise.

Heres the deal: On Sunday 26th April 2009, along with over 30,000 other people, I will be attempting to complete the London Marathon. You may know that I had run the full marathon distance around my school field before, (because I was too young to run in the London Marathon), but now i am old enough, and so this is the big one, and i need to raise £1,500. I'm running the marathon for 'The Laura Centre'.

The Laura Centre is a Leicester based charity serving the East Midlands. They offer support to anyone who is affected by the death (or anticipated death) of a child and for any child or young person, up to the age of 25 who is affected by the death (or anticipated death) of a parent or carer. The Laura Centre needs to raise £400,000 every year to keep services going. This helps to provide all of the free open-ended counselling services they offer.

This is where you come in! In return for my commitment to run, (and not just the 26.2 mile course around London but the weeks of training i will be putting in) I am asking you to dig deep and donate as much as you feel you can through my personal website.

I have also created a facebook group, and will update it with my progress and after the race will post photos of proof i have completed the marathon.
