No, your eyes are not deceiving you! We are actually doing something active in a bid to raise money for a charity close to our hearts (no pun intended), The Wessex Heartbeat Charity. Unfortunately, this involves running around Southampton Common dressed as...you guessed it...SANTA! I shall be listening to Christmas songs and singing the whole way round whilst Rich will be doing a rather good impersonation of Ebenezer Scrooge – bah Humbug!  

It is only 5K - we say "only" - this is likely to kill us but is nothing in comparison to what some of you have done (10K's, half marathons, full marathons to name but a few) so we hope you can spare a little loose change to help us achieve our target. We do understand it’s an expensive time of year so any donation, however big or small, would be greatly appreciated!  

One final request - please don't come and watch us - it won't be pretty and we will no doubt post some photos afterwards for you all to see (which naturally will have been digitally re-mastered to make us look glowing and super fit). However, if you do feel the urge to come along (Claire, we're expecting cupcakes), the advantage is you might not be able to see us amongst all the other Santas. In all seriousness, it would be great to see you so feel free!
