My story
Leeds Half Marathon....13.4 miles...or plodathon as we like to call it.
*This one goes out to all of you that laughed at the thought of me running a marathon..

Welcome to Dicky and Michelle's fundraising page.
Lets not beat around the bush...we want some cash from you. whether a couple of quid, a fiver or 10 billion pounds it really doesn’t matter.
What does matter however is that in northern Darfur, Sudan, there are some kids and parents who struggle for the basic necessities that we all take for granted....and we want to help them out.
'Kids for Kids' is our charity and these guys help out by supplying things like hand pumps for water, goats for produce and basic education to local people. http://www.kidsforkids.org.uk/
We are going to train up and run the Leeds half marathon! 13.4 miles is a pretty long way for anyone! i personally get out of breath walking to the fridge for a beer which in fairness would be another reason to do this marathon.
It aint gunna be an easy stroll in the park for us so please dig deep and dip in what you can. It’s a good thing!
