I'm running the Dublin Marathon for Diabetes UK because my Mum was diagnosed with the disease ( at a dangerous stage ) earlier in the year and will need the use of a wheelchair to get about for the rest of her life.

I'd be really grateful if you could donate whatever you can as it's going to a worthwhile charity that helps thousands with the disease.

I'll also be running the Paris Marathon in April 2012 for the same charity so please look out for that.

I'm aiming for a time under 4hrs in Dublin which will be 23 mins quicker than my last marathon in May this year in Belfast.
