My story

Richard will be forever associated with Crisp who put up arguably the greatest performance in the 1973 Grand National without actually winning. He rode 470 winners, including a Champion Hurdle on Lanzarote and numerous big chases, including two King George VI Chases on Pendil. Since retiring, he has become a best-selling author and a renowned BBC broadcaster.
