After several difficult months, my friend has been diagnosed with a rare form of neuro-endocrine cancer. It has unfortunately gone to her lungs, liver and bones. There is no known cure but she is willing to undergo different treatments to try to both prolong her life and try out new methods, to help others in the future with the same diagnosis.

The Neuroendocrine Patient Foundation  (www.netpatientfoundation.com) relies solely on its patients and their friends and families to raise funds to help to support them following a diagnosis, and importantly to continue its valuable research.
