NDCS is the national charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people. We represent the interests and campaign for the rights of all deaf children and young people from birth to independence. NDCS believes that the family is the most important influence on a deaf child's development. NDCS supports the deaf child through the family as well as directly supporting deaf children and young people themselves.

My story

"Once more unto the breach dear friends......." Hopefully Shakespeare won't mind me borrowing that quotation. He'll have to catch me if he does, because once more, and for the 6th time, I have taken leave of my senses and decided to run the London Marathon on Sunday 26th April.

Although only 1 in 20 who enter through the public ballot get a place I am lucky and, for the third time, I am in this way. I am raising money for the National Deaf Childrens Society. I am sure many of you know, with Robert, my eldest son being profoundly deaf, this is a cause close to my heart. Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
