Dear Family and Friends,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

From July 14th until the 17th, I will cycle from London to Paris with Medecins du Monde. I would like to dedicate that run to the memory of my past loved aunt Monique Boudier who after a several years battle against cancer left us in 2007. Monique was great, and genuine in her efforts to help others whatever their condition and origin. She was a loving aunt and was always encouraging when it was about engaging into new challenges.

Thanks to Valerie and her family I discovered cycling in the Beaujolais area, and I increasingly like it. It's a fantastic way to exercice, keep fit, discover new areas and landscapes with a great feel of freedom to it, and meet people. In the past years I've tried to practice it a little on the week-ends, and since the beginning of the year I decided to take the adventure a little further and cycle longer rides. London to Paris will certainly be a challenge but... that's the fun of it, isn't it?

I dearly like the idea that my effort can be useful to others and raise the attention of good causes. Medecins du Monde is a great organization which since 1980 has helped desperate causes throughout the world, and raised the attention of these difficult situations to leaders across nations.

My objective is to raise £1,300 to help Medecins du Monde in their endeavour to:
- Treating the most vulnerable populations
- Bearing witness to obstacles encountered to health care access
- Obtaining sustainable improvements to health policies and medical practices so as to attain equal access to health care for all.

For each £1 you will give to MdM, 76.6 pences will be used for their social missions.

I thank you in advance for your support and contribution to the run.
