Scannappeal
Scannappeal was founded in1987 and raises funds for vital medical equipment for hospitals in Buckinghamshire, particularly for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients. Sixteen appeals for equipment have now been completed, raising over £7m. This equipment has been used by one in seven of the local population.

Well thats it then!

I finished in 5 hours with body and mind just about intact. A little sore, yes, but absolutely thrilled to have achieved the finish line and to have raised such important funds for Scannappeal.

For those interested in the race stats, I finished 19735th although I prefer to focus on my age group category which sounds a much better 3734th!!

Thank you so much everyone for supporting me over the last few months, your encouragement and sponsorship has meant so much to me and to Scannappeal. The site will be open for another few weeks for anyone that still wants to donate, everything is greatly appreciated.
