Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I'm entering the Bontrager Twentyfour12 mountain bike race as a solo competitior this year, meaning I'll be riding on my own for 24hours! The race is held at Newnham park in Sunny Plymouth; probably the UK's finest cross country race venue. The course will feature a great, but physically and mentally demanding mix of steep climbs and technical descents.

Each lap will be about 12km long. I'll be stopping every few hours for some food and a change of shorts, but otherwise I'll be in the saddle trying to complete as many laps as I can, and also trying to raise some money for a great local charity. It's not going to be easy, but I've been training hard since New Year and am really looking forward to the event.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Luke's Hospice Plymouth gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
