Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

I'm running the London Marathon this year to raise money for the Prince's Trust. Although most of you know me as a keen runner I usually don't go much further than dashing to catch a bus or running up stairs. This seems a lot further.

Please help me raise money for the Prince's Trust, they do a very valuable job giving opportunities to young people and helping them see their own potential. Friends of mine who've set up projects through the Prince's Trust have seen how this kind of help can really change someone's life for the better.

I'm hoping me and Flora can help them a bit on the 26th April. If anyone fancies coming along on the day to show support or just think "glad it's not me getting blisters" then let me know as there may be some kind of plan as to where best to see me whiz by.

Thanks for your support!
Rich
