We are the leading charity for pregnancy, birth and early parenting in the UK with over 72,000 members supporting over 1 million new & expectant parents every year. We offer accessible information; counselling and telephone support through our Breastfeeding, Enquiry and Pregnancy and Birth Lines, our publications and our antenatal and postnatal courses. Our 314 volunteer led branches provide community based services to new & expectant parents throughout the UK.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I am raising funds for the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) who do a great job helping new mums and mums-to-be. With the strain on maternity services nationwide, the NCT fulfills an important role by providing support, care and training to new parents.  The NCT also helps parents to make informed choices in what can be a potentially stressful and bewildering time for new parents.

I will be cycling a 100Km Off-Road Enduro event (60miles) on 10 May '08. http://www.trailbreak.co.uk/southern_100s/index.php?go=eventinfo&event_id=252  You can visit the site of the ride organiser to get more details.

It takes place over the South Downs Way around Duncton, West Sussex. It is an epic route  winding up and over the South Downs and taking in parts of the classic South Downs Way. I have ridden the South Downs Way over two days before and I know this will not be an easy task.
