My story

Beachy Head Marathon (http://www.visiteastbourne.com/marathon.asp) is one of the biggest off-road marathons in the UK. 26.2 miles along the South Downs way including over 1,000 metres of ascent. I'm only planning to run one marathon in my lifetime, so thought it might as well have an extra element of fun.

Caring for Life is a fantastic charity to support. Their motto is 'Sharing the love of Jesus' - motivated by the love Jesus has shown to them, they offer unconditional love, care and practical support to people who have often been rejected by their families and by society. For example, they provide supported homes to provide emotional security for particularly vulnerable men and women, and therapeutic daytime projects to help people achieve a settled, productive lifestyle.

Please take a look at their website (http://www.caringforlife.co.uk/) for more information on their work. If you want to know more about what motivates them, please allow me the privilege of someday telling you why the death and resurrection of Jesus is so wonderful, and why it's so important for everyone to know Jesus for themselves.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Caring For Life gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Please sponsor me...any amount appreciated.

Thanks very much,
Richard
