As long term head of BBC Licensing Richard has seen top light entertainment stars at close quarters, but almost certainly learned nothing from them. He is a keen amateur actor and is likely to bring to his karaoke performance the defining characteristics of that hobby: wild enthusiasm and a total lack of talent. We can only hope he doesn't choose to reprise his 2008 turn as Iggle Piggle which won Character Exchange's Character Lookalike of the Year.
