3h11 was my time! Absolutely delighted. I was running sub-3 to halfway but decided to throttle back as the weather was warm and I wanted to be sure of bagging my 3h15 because that now gives me automatic entry into any marathon anywhere in the world for the next 2 years!

Sadly I can't really afford to go somewhere exotic (unless anyone fancies sponsoring me to!) so I'll be running the Abingdon Marathon this October and the London Marathon next April. The cause will be Devon Air Ambulance who recently saved my father-in-law's life, and who do a fantastic job, totally privately funded.

In the meantime, please keep donating for another great cause - JET - who place children in tragedy or trauma in secure environments where they can get a fresh start in life.
