Gerty is my bike, she was badly damaged in the Royal Marsden fire on 2nd January 2008. The hospital very quickly resumed business as usual after this event and as a show of this ability to 'get back in the saddle' I have decided to fix Gerty and ride her from Land's End to John O'Groats.
