Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

This will be my second year at the Oxford-Cambridge Hearts First Bike Ride for the BHF. The picture on the left is, I admit, not of great quality but it's the only one I have of last year. Yes I was a bit jaded. The last  20 miles involved many stops to stretch due to cramp, not something I want to experience  again and that's why I'm getting up at six four days a week to train.

It's officially 89 miles but most people's bike computers register well over 90 and of course last year we had a 5 mile detour courtesy of Wozzer! That's the longest ride I've ever been on and I'm really glad that our team has increased from three (Eric, Warren and I,) to six with the additions being Mark, Stuart and Simon.

In the style of Uncle Brynn: "I won't lie to you, it's bloody hard!"

Feeling sorry for me? Laughing at my expense? Think I'm doo-lally? Yeah well so do I! Anyway every penny counts so if you can spare as little as a pound I'll be really grateful and so will all the people who've been helped by the British Heart Foundation

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: British Heart Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
