On 18th October 2008, I'll be walking 17 or so miles in support of the British Heart Foundation, courtesy of 'Saints with Heart 7'. With 7 miles to go I'll be joined by Niamh (5) and Joe (11) as they walk the shorter (I'm sure 7 miles doesn't sound short to a five year old,) walk from Gayton. Meanwhile Sam and Lee will go to Franklin's Gardens, home of the Saints, to shake buckets to raise even more money!
Saints with Heart are a bunch of rugby supporters who got involved when three of our friends suffered heart attacks six years ago. Since then we've raised £71,000 and had a lot of fun.
This year, the BHF want us to help fund the appointment of an extra community based cardiac care nurse for the County. Your money will get used quickly and wisely.
