Story

Hey everyone!

From the 8th to the 14th of May Nexus will be running a RAG (Raising and Giving) week in which all of the students and staff pitch in together to raise money for the college so that it can continue doing the fantastic work that its doing. Nexus is running a variety of sponsored events, but the event I will be taking part in is the 'ABC cycle challenge'.

The ABC Cycle Challenge is a bike ride where we (my team of 5 people) start at a city/town/village beginning with the letter 'A', and cycle to other cities, towns or villages beginning with all the letters of the alphabet in order, taking photos by the sign of each of the places to prove we have been there. The main rule is that we must pass through a minimum of 5 cities (places with a Cathedral), which means the route will become quite substantial, and we also have to cycle back to Coventry at the end. All in all, our route should be around 400-500 miles long, which over 6 days is going to be reasonably tough!

Nexus is looking to raise £22,000 during this week, which is £220 each when split between all the staff and students. Feel free to sponsor me as much or as little as you can afford, it is all very greatly appreciated! :)

Thanks in advance for all your support!

Rich

P.S All money must be in by 21st June!
