My personal message:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I will be running the London Marathon on the 26th April 2009 and with your support, I hope that get as close as possible to my ambitious target of raising £5,000 for my chosen charity, Leukaemia CARE. I have chosen this charity because it is the only charity that could offer guaranteed places for The London Marathon that is directly related to the disease that I was diagnosed with in November 2007. It is a privilege for me to be able to raise awareness and run for this charity knowing that your money will be going to such a worthy cause that is so close to my heart. Leukaemia CARE has no government or lottery funding and therefore relies entirely on fundraising, so your generosity would be greatly appreciated.
