Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. On the 26th April I completed the London Marathon in a time of 4 hours and 17 minutes. I have achieved the goal of getting back to fitness after my illness last year and hope to carry on running marathons. I already have a place for the London Marathon next year and hope to do the Dublin and New York Marathons in the not too distant future. With your help I hope to raise money for Leukaemia CARE. I have chosen this charity because throughout my treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2008 I received the best possible treatment, care and support. All of this made beating the disease so much easier. All of the money raised through this site will go directly towards families fighting Leukaemia or Lymphoma who struggle financially and therefore make their lives a little bit easier. It is a privilege for me to be able to raise awareness and run for this charity.
Leukaemia CARE has no government or lottery funding and therefore relies entirely on fundraising, so your generosity would be greatly appreciated.
Please take the time to have a look at the Leukaemia CARE website,

If you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for taking the time to visit this page and I will keep you updated on my training progress as the big day gets closer.
