The Event
We're competing in the “Scumball Rally 2008” (our third outing), we start on 10th July with a race at Donington, followed by a rally across Europe culminating with 10 lap race at the infamous Nurburgring in Germany on 15th July.

We are 'Wolfsburg Wolfbaggers' to reflect the Germanic roots of our wheels, a 1990 VW Golt Gti 16v, 13 owners and with the paintwork suffering from some kind of automotive leprosy.  I’ll be the driving with James 'Bootsy' French.

The Charity
We’re raising vital funds for young carers this year – children who look after an adult who is sick or disabled. They often miss out on the basics of simple childhood because they have to take on adult responsibilities.

How can you help?

1. Put your company logo on our car in return for a donation to charity.
The event gets televised and we’ve had some really good exposure in previous years with constant repeats on 'men and motors' reaching new audiences. (See here for a list of where and when we've been in the media http://www.teamchernobylracing.com/page5.htm ). This year we’re planning an hour long show on Men and Motors as well as another 20 to 40 minute feature on Wolfsburg Wolfbaggers’ preparation for the rally on another TV show (details to follow!).

Team Wolfsburg Wolfbaggers are offering advertising space on our prolific Golf Gti in return for a donation to Barnardo’s CareFree project.
