Of course there is a reason why I am doing this and it's Lucy McNamara (Nee Gane). Lucy joined Spofforths about five years ago and worked predominantly for me before moving to our Storrington and then our Worthing offices. Lucy suffers from Cystic Fibrosis and this ultimately forced her to resign earlier this year. Lucy is currently on the waiting list for a heart and lung transplant. Cystic Fibrosis is a progressive debilitating condition with no known cure and from which Lucy's sister Danielle sadly died. It is very difficult for Lucy to get out and about anymore but I had the fortune to bump into her recently. As always I was struck by her strength of character and vitality. I have therefore decided that being lucky enough to have a healthy heart and lungs that I should put them to good use.

No amount of sponsorship is too small (or too big!). Any sponsor who is a taxpayer can make a donation under Gift Aid and then every £1 is increased by a further 28p. All of the money that I raise through your generous sponsorship will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to help provide support to people and families like Lucy's.
