Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Our 3 year old grandson, Liam, was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) in Jan 2008, having had a skin rash for nearly a year. He has multisystem, risk organ involvement LCH. Liam had two inductions and is now in the maintenance stage of chemotherapy with steroids.
His elderly and infirm grandparents plan to raise money for the Research Trust (and celebrate Denise's 60th birthday) by walking 200 kms along the pilgrimage route in Spain to Santiago de Compostela at the end of April.
Everybody we have told about this plan has laughed, including our children, and that's one reason we are asking for money up front. If one of us doesn't come back there will be no refunds...
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Histiocytosis Research Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now!
