Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  This is my fourth Great North Run and fifth half marathon, and once again I am running to raise money for Helen Rollason Cancer Care.  You have all been very generous on previous occasions, so I am not making a big noise about the run this year, but if you would like to make a donation to my chosen charity, I would be delighted. 

You may remember Helen Rollason, who was a well known BBC sports presenter and who died of cancer at a very young age.  Before her death she formed this charity, of which I am a Trustee, and which provides meaningful and sensitive support, care and understanding to the many people who suffer from cancer and at a particular time when they are feeling most vulnerable and anxious in every way.
