Story
Firstly, thank-you to anyone who supported me with words and/or cash when I did my Pennine Walk last year. For this years walk< I have decided to stick with the format I used last year, in splitting my journey into one-day point-to-point walks over the weekends. This year I have decided to trade hills for distance and go for the Leeds-Liverpool canal, 127 miles in total starting my journey from Liverpool. Due to the distance, I'm not 100% sure how long it will take, but will be trying to cover a daily minimum of 15 miles for each leg of the journey - some of this will be dictated by where I can get a train from.
The journey will take me through Liverpool, Maghull, Burscough, Appleby Bridge, Wigan, Chorley, Blackburn, Burnley, Nelson, Gargrave, Skipton, Keighley, Shipley & Leeds. I've been planning and looking forward to it for a long time and I'm very excited about the start date drawing close.
Last year, you helped me raise £446 + Giftaid, which blew me away. I'm keeping my target at £250 as times are tough but Christies needs your help more than every so anything you can contribute will be massively appreciated.
You are welcome to donate before, during or after the event.
