Story
Richie was my best friend and husband who suffered a short but devastating illness earlier this year. He was a great husband, brilliant Dad to his 2 young daughters, a loving son and brother, one of the lads, a sportsman, a gentleman and a friend to SO many. Richie was only 42 when he died which seems so unfair as he loved life and lived it to the full every day. He had a passion for any sport and was a life-long supporter of QPR.
Our daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes last year and so Richie had planned to run the Plymouth Half-Marathon in aid of JDRF but it wasn't to be, and so it seems fitting that his work mates, friends and me are running the Plymouth 10K for him instead. Keep on running Richie!
