Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. The staff team at Richmond's Hope have been saying for some time now that we should do a team sponsor challenge to raise much needed funds for Richmond's Hope.
Richmond’s Hope is a bereavement charity for Children/young people 4-18 years. They work in Edinburgh and The Lothians. They provide one to one support using therapeutic play activities which enables children to explore how a death has affected their lives. To date they have supported over 800 children and their families. It costs £1150 to support a child who has been bereaved. Kelley, Donna, Anne,Laura and Janet will embark on their journey to Aberfeldy on Saturday 20th March 2010 to take part in a day of canyoning, We have chosen this activity as it as it also gives each of us the opportunity to confront some personal fears.(heights, water, cold). What is canyoning? Canyoning(alson known as canyoneering) is travelling in canyons using a variety of techniques that may include walking, scrambling, climbing, technical jumps and or technical swims. All money raised will go towards Richmond's Hope to to help them to continue to support bereaved children and their families.
So please dig deep and donate now.
