Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, it's really genuinely appreciated, I just hope you're feeling generous.  It's all safe and secure, its the official London Marathon charity site, or some such title, so theres no likelihood of any dodgy goings on.  Also you probably want me chasing you with a sponsorship form about as much as I want to have to hassel you for 50p (or possibly a little more...) after I (hopefully!) finish and although most of you probably haven't heard of CHICKS I can assure you they're a worthwhile charity.  I did some volunteer work with a similar group down in Bristol when I was a student and although I obviously had a lot of fun yelling at little kids and crashing a minibus (into a parked car) I'm sure the kids enojed it even more.  Although I'm not gonna get sentimental on you it really is the only break some of them get all year, so go on be generous PLEASE...  All the money raised here goes to CHICKS, I've already paid for my entry fee, and although I'm not under any obligation to raise a fixed amount, it is a cause that I care about a lot.  Also if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.  Cos I'm feeling generous I'll throw in the 28% for any students that cares to donate cos I know how much I enjoyed giving my hard earned, ahem, cash away when I was studying...
