We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

Yes, that's right, once again the idiot on the left there is going one step farther in an attempt to raise money for that ludicrously noble charity Diabetes UK. Having been diagnosed as a type 1 'juvenile' diabetic at age 30 this is my small scale attempt to spread the hope and understanding that being diabetic is not a life-sentence of depression and incapacity. I understand the problems and downright depression that the condition can cause and I still wake up most days thoroughly unimpressed by the mutiny of my white blood cells those few years ago. However, I'm fit and healthy and enjoying my life and would love to think that this is how all diabetics live. With your help we can raise awareness of how to avoid putting people at risk and how those currently living with diabetes can live longer and healthier lives. Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, please check out my diabetic training blog at: a soon to be released web address Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Diabetes UK gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. So please sponsor me :)
