I have signed up for my first BE event with Merlin. It is a massive step for me as I haven't done any eventing since I was about 15. I am now 32 and have a two year old and life as a mum sometimes takes away your confidence that you had as a carefree 15 year old. I am learning again, and Merlin is learning from scratch. I broke him in as a 3 year old, and this is his, and my first year of doing anything 'proper'. There is a long way to go and raising money for Hannah through the Wilberry Wonder Pony Charity will spur me on to try my hardest, enjoy every moment, and push myself to do things which I may not have done otherwise. For a life to be snuffed out by Cancer, just when it was starting is cruel. Everyone knows someone who has had their life extinguished by Cancer, and I am doing this for them.
