“In 1995, I along with my parents took the journey from the hustle and bustle of my home city of Birmingham to a remote town in the wilderness of Robin Hood’s Sherwood Forest. Little did I expect that that journey was a life-changing moment for me. In honour of my parents, I wish to ride my bicycle on the same journey to Retford and would like you to sponsor me in aid of Jamia Al-Karam so that many others can have a life-changing experience like me.” - Zein Hud

Zein Hud began the Al-Karam Secondary School in 1995. He successfully completed his secondary education as well as the Islamic scholarship course at Jamia Al-Karam and went for higher education at Al-Azhar University. He regularly helps and assists students of Jamia Al-Karam and is actively involved in its activities.

Gul Muhammad is a graduate of Jamia Al-Karam, DMG Bhera and the University of Staffordshire. He is a senior lecturer of Islamic Studies and Classical Arabic Language at Jamia Al-Karam. In 2008, he was elected Secretary-General of the Al-Karam Scholars Association. He is a dedicated and active member of Jamia Al-Karam who provides great support in its endeavours.
