<p> <p>Hello and thanks for visiting our JustGiving page!</p> <p>This year the three of us have decided to put our bodies through their paces and make them suffer, all in the name of a good cause. In September this year we shall be embarking on a 4 day endurance challenge, with the aim of riding our bikes all the way from London to Paris!</p> <p>Three men in lycra outfits, sweating, huffing and puffing, for several hours a day as they ride the 280 miles from capital to capital. Rest assured this will not be a pretty sight, but we're not doing this for the looks! No, we're doing this to raise money.</p> <p>Autistica is a great charity that is dedicated to funding the much needed research which focuses on determining the causes of autism spectrum disorders. Autism is currently one of the most significant but least researched developmental disorders and Autistica has set itself the task of achieving major breakthroughs within just ten years.</p> <p>With our help Autistica can carry out their research and try to discover what causes autism spectrum disorders, and establish how can we use that knowledge to ease the burden for affected families. We still don't know the specific characteristics of ASD that are amenable and relevant to treatments, and with more research Autistica aims to advance our understanding of how autism changes over time, and improve early screening and diagnosis.</p> <p>I hope you'll agree it's a fine cause to be fighting for.
