Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

On July 20th 2014, at the age of 29, we lost a dear friend Rob Chapman.

Rob took his own life, he must of thought he had no one to turn to and had run out of options.

It has left his family and friends completely devastated and many will never really come to terms with this loss.

If our challenge; through the help of Papyrus, could prevent this from happening to another set of friends and a family, then we want to raise as much money to enable this charity to continue their good work.

We as a five strong team, Henry Barnes, William Mottram, John Sheppard, Ollie Speck and Charlie Paton aim to cycle from John O'Groats to Lands End on April 18th 2015, the challenge is around a 1000 miles; which we hope to complete in 9 days.

With help from our family and friends, we are organising and plan to complete this challenge independently from organised groups. We believe making this bike ride that little bit more challenging, just as Rob would want!

Any donation given, big or small will make a difference and will be hugely appreciated by the charity, us five lads, and of course Rob's family; Bob, Linda and his sister Kate.
