On the 17th of June 2007, Tom Allen and Andrew Welch will embark upon Ride Earth - their mission to circumnavigate the world by mountain bike.
Why Cycle Round The World?
It comes from a shared, lifelong passion for the outdoors, mountain-biking, and a desire for adventure in a world where little such opportunity exists in everyday life. The challenge of navigation and travel outside of the world’s traffic infrastructure will put nature’s unknown wonders within reach.
We hope to share the experience through our video podcast, educating and inspiring others to appreciate the natural environment that we as a species are increasingly putting under threat, and to do more to minimise the impact that our lifestyle has upon it.
