Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 2nd August 2014, some close friends I am very lucky to have are joining me on a 60 mile cycle in memory of Amy. We will be starting in Bingley where Amy spent much of her youth and finish at the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield where I will be sponsoring a memorial tree (this will be later in the year when the trees are planted).

It will be a year to the day so I am doing this to try and cope with it by being as strong as I can. The memory of how strong, brave and beautiful my Amy was will spur me on, as it will all the others taking part I am sure (most of us are not regular cyclists).

Amy was so so pleased and proud at the amount we all raised previously for Weston Park (£5000!) so if we can get anywhere near that this time then I have no doubt she will be smiling on us. 

I plan to give anything we raise to the Teenage Cancer Ward at Weston Park. The nurses and staff there are wonderful and looked after her so amazingly. Amy would want to give back the love they gave us.
