In March 2009 we received the news that my dad, Simon had a brain tumor, he's been undergoing treatment and is being cared for by Wessex Trust who have done a great job in looking after him. As a way of saying thank you for the care he's received, a group of us are going to ride all 65 miles around the Isle of Wight to raise money for Wessex Cancer Trust.
On the 25 July 2009 my dad passed away after 5 months of fighting the tumor.
So please help us to raise us much money as we can for this charity!
Our Aim: To ride the 65 miles round the Isle of Wight
Our Goal: To raise £1000 or more for Wessex Cancer Trust
We will also be wearing lycra... yes you heard me... lycra for which we will also provide photographic proof of!
In addition to the IOW ride, Martin plans to run the New Forest Marathon on 27/09/2009, September looks to be a busy month for him!
