In May 2008 London's Air Ambulance service (HEMS) and The Royal London Hospital saved my life after a pretty horrendous motorcycle accident which left me disabled.
After returning to work and getting my life back on track, I decided that I really wanted to give something back and raise some serious cash for HEMS so they could continue to help others just like they helped me.
My amazing friends at Draeger Medical all wanted to help too and so we came up with a plan to relay run the 85 mile Ridgeway footpath starting in Avebury, Wiltshire and finishing at Ivinghoe Beacon, Buckinghamshire. Last year was a great success so we are replicating the run in June 2011.
The runners & helpers this year are: Imogen Hicks, Howard Clark, Anne Pattinson, Chris Babb, Chris Mackriell, Luke Bourdillon, Emma Hancox, Lesley Youren, Jennifer Earnshaw, Nathaniel Rhodes-Williams, Neill Allen, Pauline Read, Steve Brunskill and Rob Clark.
Please give generously and help me and my friends raise £2500.00 for this incredible charity.
Many thanks,
Imogen
