Story
For the third year running a group of employees from Draeger Medical UK Limited are relay running the 85 mile Ridgeway footpath which runs from Avebury, Wiltshire to Ivinghoe, Buckinghamshire to support London's Air Ambulance.
The charity is very close to my heart after they saved my life in May 2008 following a near fatal motorcycle accident which left me disabled. Without the quick response and expertise of the London's Air Ambulance team, I can definitely say I would not be here writing this today.
When I returned to work, my amazing colleagues and I decided that we wanted to give something back. With each flight of the helicopter costing around £2500, we have tried hard over the last 3 years to raise as much as we possibly can for the charity.
Please dig deep and donate! - I hope you never need the assistance of the Air Ambulance, but others will, and your donation (no matter how small) will make a massive difference to the lives of trauma victims in and around the London area.
Thank you.
