We have now completed the bike ride! George and Harry managed to complete all 100 miles of it, with a total of 21 hours of cycling. Oria, India and Ellie were forced to retire from the ride through injury - pictures explain it all.
It has been a huge effort just to persuade the lot of us to even get our bikes out the shed - but thankfully, it was completed by some members of the group after all.
To all those who have already donated, thank you very very much. The money you have given to Hope Against Cancer has been the driving force for this trip and made it really worthwhile.
For those who still haven't donated, any donations for our gruelling efforts would be appreciated, we're nearly at the £600 mark now!
Thank you in advance.

We're using this bike ride to raise money for Hope Against Cancer to the target of £600, that's just over £100 per person.
Maria Tilton, a good family friend of the Fox-Edwards, sadly passed away a few months ago. Maria relied on Hope Against Cancer for its exceptional support, since her fight against cancer began in 2008.
Hope Against Cancer aims to raise money to fund cancer research, treatment and care in the Leicestershire and Rutland area, and currently supports numerous PhD research posts, clinical fellowships, and a nursing fellowship. For more information:http://www.hfcr.org/.
So we'd like to raise as much money as we can through this little biking trek to help Hope Against Cancer give more aid to more cancer patients like Maria.
Moreover, Alice, one of Maria's two daughters, ran the London Marathon last year to raise money for this charity and managed over £2000. We're clearly not expecting to raise anywhere near this with just a few days left, but a little something from everyone should go a fair way! So please dig deep and donate now.
"Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - it raises more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity."
