WINTER MADNESS: WE STILL NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET!

Paula Kennedy and Lesley Sixsmith did the “Ridgeway Winter Challenge” on Saturday 2nd Feb, walking the full 25 miles through S Oxfordshire in just over eight hours!  We had a great day out and would like to say a big thank-you to everyone who sponsored us so generously. DID YOU KNOW?  Pancreatic cancer statistics make grim reading. It’s very hard to diagnose early on. Many victims survive for only a few months after diagnosis. And the number still alive five years later is below 5% - the lowest survival rate of all cancers in the UK. (Comparable survival rates for breast cancer in women run at 77% and 95% for testicular cancer).
