Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I did the 20 mile night hike on Friday Sept 18th but didn't have time until now to create my page.  Now that I can't walk, I have the time!  Although I'm aching all over, it was an amazing experience and I'm so grateful for all the support my friends have shown.

Everyone has been touched by cancer in some way.  Whether it is a friend, family or loved one - or you know someone who's had someone affected by cancer.  I cried when Patrick Swayze died, he was my hero. I had tickets to see Pavarotti but he had to cancel because he was too ill and then passed away.  One of the most amazing women I've ever had the privilege to know and love Mary "Pixie" Evers, my dance mentor and teacher I lost to breast cancer.  I still miss her and wish she was here.

Now one of my best friends Matthew Brown is fighting cancer.  This is for you Matthew.  You are one of the most talented musicians and people I've ever had the great fortune to work with.  You are also the friend I come to when I'm down and lost.  Your friendship is so special and has saved me on more than one occasion.  You light up everyone's life who knows you.  Please keep fighting.  We need you and love you.
