Hey! Thanks for visiting my 2009 fundraising page. Dare I raise the target? It was £500. We got to over £1,800 today 28th January 2010! Great job. Thanks to all!!

This is a very special cause for me and a great many others. A group of us are running the Great Midlands Fun Run on the 31st May - it's 8.5 miles and we hope to raise some money in memory of a very dear wife, mother, sister & friend. Mary passed away in the middle of last year and is greatly missed by so many. She was only 50. We all miss her so very much. She is a very special person - the kind of person you only ever meet once (sadly) in a life time. So much consideration for everybody - no matter what.

As you can see we are trying to raise some money for Breast Friends in order to help provide support and help to others who may find themselves in a similar situation as did Mary. Breast Friends provide support for the whole family, in the words of Mary's husband Mike, "they were fantastic".
