My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

As a volunteer crewmember with the RNLI in Blyth, I have decided to help raise funds for the charity I work for.

I'm embarking on a 2 week trip from Ripon in North Yorkshire down to London, in a kayak. A slightly unusual idea I'm sure some of you will agree.

The distance is 341 miles along the rivers and canals, with 184 locks and 4 tunnels to go around as I'm not allowed to use a kayak in them.

The start date is the 17th of May and hopefully finish at Tower Bridge in london on the 1st of June.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
