Story

Our Pain + Your Kindness = Slum-Dweller's Joy!

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.  We are attempting the 15 Peaks Challenge in aid of Asha in India.

The Challenge

Trekking over the 15 highest peaks in Snowdonia within 24 hours.  We'll start at 4am and walk around 32 miles and climb more than 4000m - that's nearly half the height of Everest.  What's more, we do all this in a day!  Simply a very tough physical challenge.

The Cause

With your help, all the pain will be worth it to support Asha.  They work in the slums of Delhi and have an amazing track record of totally transforming communities.  They now work with over 300,000 people living in the most desperate conditions, helping them improve their lives through education, health care and by working with the authorities to improve sanitation and provide basic but essential amenities such as drinking water.  To find out more please visit their website at www.asha-india.org.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Friends Of Asha (Gb) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!  Bless you, Colin, Paul and Mark
