RM350 Mountain Bike challenge · 13 September 2014

Offering lifelong support to the Royal Marines Family.

Story

You may or may not know that I spent a brief time in the Royal Marines, something I am incredibly proud of. This year they celebrate their 350th birthday and serving/retired marines have stepped up in their usual fashion to raise money for their injured colleagues and their families.

These incredible men have given so much to ensure our freedom, so please give generously to support them when they need it!

The challenge will take the form of a 140 mile mountain bike ride, starting from my home town of Heathfield, via Eastbourne and the entire South Downs way before finishing at the Royal Marines museum in Portsmouth. I'm estimating it will take me a little under 24 hours to complete (or I hope it will).

A couple of added incentives;

  • My company Batchelor IT will match the money raised £ for £, so if you want to see us out of pocket dig deep
  • Everyone who donates at least £5 will be entered into a draw to win a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet

Than you in advance for your generous donations.
