I've been running my way back to physical and mental health after a tough year or two. I thought this "London Marathon" I'd heard of might be a good thing to aim for - and now it feels a bit as if it's aiming for me.

Every penny of your support, which will go to WellChild, the national charity for sick children, will mean I'm extra-motivated to get out and do the training - all 1,000 miles of it.

Dodgy knee notwithstanding, I aim to

a) start the marathon;

b) complete the marathon; and

c) cross the finish line in under 4h 15m. 

Marathon day is Sunday 25 April 2010. I hope that you'll help support me through these next few months - I want to raise a fabulous amount for WellChild, in the thought that my Dad would have been proud.
