BUPA Great North Run 2008 · 5 October 2008 ·

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Thanks so much for everybody's support so far!

With 2 of 4 runs completed for the year, I am a little behind where I'd like to be at the moment, but really appreciate all who have donated so far. Whilst the numbers show that sponsorship seems high, remember that I am likely not receive at least 25% of what is pledged offline ... so all help is appreciated.

If you already supported me online prior to Manchester, no extra sponsorship necessary, I thank you!

The BUPA Great North Run 2008 will be held on Sunday October 5 over 13 miles. I have pledged to raise £350 from this event. All help will be much appreciated not only by me but by the NAS who do such great work throughout the UK to help people with autism and their families.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: National Autistic Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
